Space for modern working environments

SYMA created a bespoke exhibition stand for Kinnarps Suisse SA at Swissbau 2026 in Basel, centred on the working environments of tomorrow.

Kinnarps develops furnishing solutions for offices, educational and care environments, combining design, ergonomics, functionality and sustainability. At Swissbau, the company focused in particular on architects, designers, planners and decision-makers from the Swiss construction and property sectors.

The compact exhibition stand created a clear and inviting setting for this. Furniture and furnishing solutions were not presented in isolation, but within a spatial environment that immediately conveyed how modern workplaces can be designed.

The focus was on people-centred working environments that promote wellbeing, collaboration and productivity. A variety of furnishing arrangements and conversation scenarios enabled visitors not only to view the products, but also to experience them directly within their spatial context.

This created a complete brand and product world even within a limited space: presentation, inspiration and personal advice were seamlessly interwoven.

The location in Hall 1.2 was ideally suited to the exhibition. At Swissbau 2026, the expanded Interior Design Trend Zone brought together, amongst other things, office and contract furnishings, lighting and other interior design themes, thereby specifically bringing together architects, planners and suppliers from the interior design sector.

The project demonstrates that bespoke stand design does not depend on large stand areas. Particularly with compact stands, a clear layout, targeted product presentation and the efficient use of every square metre determine whether a brand is noticed in the exhibition environment.

For SYMA, Kinnarps is therefore a prime example of customised exhibition stand design in the small to medium-sized segment – featuring high-quality design, tailored to the target audience and consistently focused on products and personal interaction.
