For GUTMANN Bausysteme GmbH, SYMA created a 350 m² island stand at FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2026 in Nuremberg, which brought together the brand’s past, present and future not only in terms of communication but also architecturally. The central theme was clearly evident throughout the entire presentation: “Future comes from the past”.

The balance was particularly striking: the exhibition stand made a very strong visual impact – with a large banner, tall structures and a clear presence visible from a distance, reaching right up to the hall ceiling. Despite its size, the display appears harmonious, open and accessible.

This is precisely where the strength of the concept lies:

• unobstructed sightlines rather than blocked-off areas
• clearly defined communication zones rather than distracting elements
• a mix of materials – wood, black and red – that combines warmth, precision and brand strength
• digital touchpoints and product presentations that are seamlessly integrated into the architecture
• a design that remains open in its effect whilst maintaining a cohesive overall appearance

GUTMANN’s product and system solutions for windows, doors and façades were not presented in isolation, but staged as part of the overall brand world. Different communication, presentation and lounge areas facilitated both expert advice and personal interaction.

This is precisely where the challenge lies, particularly with large island stands: creating a strong presence without appearing cumbersome. Utilising the space without overloading it. And zoning the communication in such a way that interaction, consultation and brand impact work together seamlessly.
