Custom-made solution for immersive historical storytelling in the museum

The Museum of Prehistory Zug in Switzerland presents discoveries and stories from over 300,000 years of human history, with a focus on the Zug region. It is particularly renowned for its globally significant pile dwelling finds from the Neolithic and Bronze Ages. Interactive exhibitions and true-to-original reconstructions bring the past to life and make it tangible for visitors.

For this exhibition, SYMA implemented customised museum showcases that met the high demands for visibility, dust protection and stability. Thanks to a weighted base structure filled with sand, the solution impressed not only in terms of functionality but also through its discreet integration into the award-winning exhibition. The authentic presentation of the world-renowned pile dwelling finds was enhanced in an experience-oriented way by the individually designed showcases.
