A month later, in June, a completely different industry meets in Frankfurt. However, anyone who thinks of technical textiles exclusively in terms of sportswear is mistaken. At techtextil 2022, a wide range of applications for the fabrics will be on show: starting with the construction industry, furniture industry and architecture, through medicine to the automotive industry. Technical textiles and innovations are even presented here for the aerospace industry. The most diverse and novel textile raw materials will be presented for this purpose, from high-tech fibres to smart textiles. All textile products can be made more functional, lighter but also more sustainable through these further developments.

Culinary delights continue again in Munich in the autumn. drinktec 2022 in September is a fixed date for exchange for many medium-sized and small companies, but important players and decision-makers in the beverage industry are also to be found here. Huge, well-known and networking for the entire industry is also this fair in Munich. With 614,000m², there is more than enough space here, in October, to showcase the latest and also the biggest machines in construction and mining. Of course, current trends, innovations and future topics will not be neglected. That is why the theme days will also focus on information about “zero emissions” and “materials of tomorrow”. In line with this future orientation, selected start-ups, trainees, students or young professionals are specially promoted and awarded prizes.
