CHINAPLAS 2021: New exhibition centre, new date
A premiere took place in the course of CHINAPLAS 2021 - this world-leading trade fair was held for the first time in the newly built Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (SZWECC). On an exhibition area of 350,000 m², more than 3600 exhibitors from more than 50 nations took the opportunity to present their products and services from the plastics industry. SYMA Asia was responsible for 2/3 of the exhibition construction area at CHINAPLAS 2021, i.e. in 12 exhibition halls with a total of 220,000 m², as service manager. In addition to these trade fair services, SYMA realised individual stands for national international customers including the German and Italian group stand.

AUTO SHANGHAI 2021: Continental
Under the motto "Mobility - Our Heartbeat for 150 Years. Continental presented itself at the 19th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition as a technology company in the field of sustainable and networked mobility. The dynamic, self-confident design concept of "Wiesner Messearchitektur GmbH" with its outstanding long-distance effect provided the attractive platform for the innovative new product presentations. This also generated an extraordinarily high visitor frequency at the stand. SYMA Germany was commissioned as general contractor with the realisation of the 300 m² exhibition stand. Together with its sister company SYMA Asia (in close cooperation with Continental project manager Michaela Landwehr and the Continental team based in Shanghai), SYMA was able to hand over the elaborate, two-storey exhibition stand in top quality on schedule. One of the biggest of the many challenges was to incorporate the requirements and conditions imposed by the Chinese trade fair organizers due to the COVID-19 pandemic and to implement them in a practical manner at the trade fair stand. As further highlights SYMA was entrusted with the construction of the exhibition stands of many loyal customers, e.g. SAIC-GM, Chevrolet and BUICK.

CIMT 2021: Meeting place for the international machine tool industry
Organized by the "China Machine Tool & Tool Builders' Association" (CMTBA), the 17th edition of this trade fair format took place in April 2021 at the "New China International Exhibition Centre" (NCIEC) in Beijing. This world's leading trade fair takes place every 2 years and attracted around 140,000 visitors to the stands of over 1700 exhibitors. A long-time SYMA customer, WFL Millturn Technologies from Upper Austria, took the opportunity to refresh its international business relations after a forced break. With a new product and fresh impulses.
