Sustainable Best Practice – SYMA at EuroShop 2023

At this year’s EuroShop SYMA is showing what the most sustainable trade fair stand possible can look like. Instead of bigger and wider, the new concept is more compact, holistic and, above all, smarter.

Sustainability at the SYMA booth at EuroShop 2023

For our new SYMA booth, we confidently reduced the area used from 280m² to 115m². This step has already resulted in far less building material being used from the ground up, and the logistics required for this have also been significantly reduced: this means a clear reduction in the CO2 emissions required. Our booth for EuroShop 2023 also consists of 80% reusable rental material – a success of the SYMA profiles that have been recyclable for decades.

Thinking holistically and sustainably means also thinking about the small details. Not only the booth itself, but also all other aspects of the trade show visit and the after-use of the materials must be included. For this reason, the booth was designed paperless and without disposable tableware. Instead of problematic giveaways, SYMA is focusing on healthy water from recyclable bottles this year.

Consequently, our stand catering is also implemented by a local service provider, free from any further impact on people and the environment. The performance is rounded off by modern projection technology which allows the presentation of various products and offers without having to transport them to the exhibition site and dispose of them later.
